The ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program is a nationwide initiative by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) to address learning gaps in reading, mathematics, and science for Kindergarten to Grade 10 learners. Launched in 2025 under Republic Act No. 12028, ARAL-Reading is the initial priority, offering tutorial support to identified low, emerging, and frustrated readers to help them attain grade-level competencies. Tutors include teachers and other trained individuals, supported by parents and guardians through orientations to reinforce learning at home.
